Bubble garden
MCA Denver partnered with architect Paul Andersen of !ndie Architecture to create The Bubble Garden, an otherworldly landscape of large plastic spheres (or bubbles) and high-quality, synthetic turf which provides children with diverse spaces for imaginative play and art making.
Fabricated from the same material and by the same process as playground equipment, these spheres offer an organic arrangement, coupled with an installation of paper butterflies made by visiting children to create an immersive, artificial garden.
The Bubble Garden is open and free with museum admission any time the museum is open. |
