Combining her knowledge of Colorado native plants and controlled environments, Dakin designed the multi-layered, meditative installation in the June S. Gates Garden. Visitors will enjoy the views of lower downtown in a landscape that supports MCA DENVER’s commitment to sustainability. Dakin’s landscapes work with their surroundings to create a “look pleasing on its own, providing effortless beauty for years to come.”

Dakin earned her master’s degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. In addition to her award winning residential work, her recent commercial and public projects include World Savings Bank, Longmont, CO; Timbers Hotel, Denver, CO; IPEC Café Garden, Pirenopolis, Brazil; and Biodesign Office, Goiania, Brazil.
