In 2008, MCA DENVER received generous support to create the Open Access Initiative. This program provides free admission to MCA DENVER for students from elementary school through college. Open Access is an opportunity for schools, teachers and professors to utilize MCA DENVER's educational resources and to expose their students to contemporary art of the highest quality.
Tours for groups of 10 or more are available. These tours are facilitated by MCA DENVER’s Education Department. Tours encourage active questioning and discussions about the artworks on display and can include an art activity session. All tours are specifically tailored to age and appropriate class level. Tours range in length from 40 to 55 minutes.
Sponsored by the Baz Family and The Xcel Energy Foundation.

MCA DENVER has been conceptualized as an incubator of ideas in motion. We ask you for your answers whether subversive, controversial, enticing, or thoughtful. Your responses are part of our open platform. As a Museum Without a Front Door, we extend that same idea with this invitation for your imagination to go global - What's It to You?
