Be an MCA Denver Gallery Coach
MCA Denver is currently recruiting volunteer Gallery Coaches to lead tours of museum galleries, engaging our visitors in an open dialogue about art. This is an exciting opportunity where volunteers can learn about and explore art alongside our visitors. The program begins with an intensive summer training session that introduces Gallery Coaches to MCA Denver and touring techniques, including our popular Art Fitness Training program. Docents will begin leading tours in the fall, and will continue to participate in training sessions with artists throughout the year.
We encourage applicants with backgrounds in studio arts, art education, art history, museum studies, philosophy, communications, and other related fields. Applicants should be curious and inquisitive, with a strong interest in learning about contemporary art and art museums in general.
